Agave Polycantha Gallery.
First signs.
This is a seedling of my polycantha that flowered in 2006. About 10 years from seed to flower. It doesn't offset but last time around it produced plantlets between the leaf axils after flowering. The plant has been kept outside for the last two winters with the minimum of shelter, and very little feeding. The emerging flower spike does seem smaller than the previous plant so wee will see how it develops. I was caught by surprise by this one because it was hidden out of sight still under an outdoor shelter. The picture below was taken when I gave it a good drink of high potash feed.
