Agave x glomeruliflora.

Description.
Single or suckering small to medium rosette with few light green leaves. Leaves 40-55 cm long. Corneous margins that separate easily with drying. Flower spike racemose 4-6 m tall, flowers yellow.
Believed to be hybrid reflecting morphological gradations between A. lechuguilla and several other species, such as A. gracilipes, A. neomexicana, and A. havardiana of the subgenus Agave. Seed-viable perpetuating populations so possibly a new species formation by natural hybridization.
Agave glomeruliflora inhabits the grassland slopes of the Big Bend mountains of Texas and the Sierra del Carmen of Northern Coahuila up to 1560 m elevation.
